the seats even had the words printed all over. and there was a buffet that looked quite nice, too bad it was only for those who ordered cocktails. the decor of the place is based on RED lips. haha
this was the paper mat used to set our table. too shy to ask the waitresses, but it is a series of quotes. the second one means 'Eating is one of the four goals of life, which are the other three, he has never known'. third one seems to be 'No love more sincere than that for food'. erm, yet to translate successfully the other 1. hahaour starter was complimentary bread, and the olive oil and vinegar came in an unusual bottle. the corked side was the oil, and the vinegar.
we both agreed that the portion for the squid ink pasta was rather miserable. and as usual, i don't really like squid ink pasta. hahaha even if it was Spaghetti House. Prosciutto pizza was quite salty, but i guess it's supposed to taste like that.Paid for the meal with Capita vouchers (we were at raffles city). haha so i guess all of you contributed to my dinner. haha
friday's dinner was at TCC, plaza sing. motive: to use up my $10 voucher before it expires.
had beef stew, and mentaiko pasta. both were not bad. pity that TCC aint exactly cheap. hahabeen planning to go to the zoo on Saturday, but couldn't bear to wake him up, and it's really nice just to laze around. tried out the chicken & bacon ranch subway, yay! one more sandwich he eats. maybe next week we'll try waking up for the zoo again, or perhaps go for bodyworld exhibit at science centre. time spent with him has drastically reduced now that both of us are working. wanna treasure the time more, and the simple things. just the thought of seeing him makes my day bearable, holding hands make me happy. if i could, i wouldn't even wanna spend time quarreling.
other simple things make me happy too. looking forward to thurs small 2b gathering. and sat's drama one.=)
